Spring is finally here and nearly time for the quarterly
business meeting. I'm still working on my everlasting fan but have
completed several smaller lace projects and my DLS nametag (at last).
I like working on multiple projects at the same time (must be my bumblebee
attention span) except that it ties up so many of my bobbins and pins.
I recently reviewed the bobbin lacemaking video in our library and
enjoyed trying some new patterns and refreshing my memory on the basics.
I had previously borrowed the tatting video and found it very helpful
also. It was like having a very patient grandmother teaching me in
my own living room. So don't forget that wonderful resource we have--our
library. The pattern books and magazines there have much to offer
on all skill levels. Keep lacing and don't forget to get outdoors
and enjoy the beautiful spring weather.
